Summer in a nutshell?

Wow. Well I guess I'm a LOT worse at the blog thing than I thought I was. I have been meaning to update it, but I get so side tracked that every time I started to write... Someone or something was distracting me. Good news though, I am writing now and my only distraction is Keelie. She is enjoying her morning playing in her bouncer telling me stories. :)It's funny that with Keelie here all I ever do involves her! I was going through my camera earlier and noticed that all my photos are Keelie. She just does too many cute things that I can't help but snap a picture of her! It's been such a fun summer getting to watch her really grow and learn new things. At the start of this summer Keelie started doing this funny tongue thing where she sticks her tongue under her bottom lip. haha everytime I got the camera out she would stop doing it or start giggling but I finally caught her in the act! haha she is such a goof. She also really loves snacks. Her little Gerber stars she just gobbles right up. I have to make sure to only put out 2 or 3 at a time or she will just go to town munching them down. Here is a picture of her one afternoon enjoying some of her starts while sippin' on some water. :)
And like I said... She will MUNCH them away!
We have swimming pool here at our apartment and it is pretty fun to go (when there isn't a million children out that day) We took Keelie out a few times this summer so far and she loves it. We have a water baby for sure :) Here is her in the swimming suit Aunt Carly bought her!
She sure knows how to pose too! Here are a couple of pictures where I've caught her posing..

She loves to make this whistle face. She has watched Trey whistle and so she will blow little air out and make a very "lite" whistle noise. haha.
She is a fast little learner. The other day I caught her brushing her hair in her play pin and then she kept reaching up and trying to brush my hair too.

Whenever we are in my bedroom she always tries to split for the window to look at the trees and birds. She I decided I would fill in the gap between our bed and window so she could stand up and look out window. She loved it. Her new thing the last couple of weeks has been pointing. She points at everything.
So, this summer me and Keelie got in a wreck. This guy hit my bumber on the intertate because he was driving wreckless and not watching what he was doing! We were both fine but my poor car wasn't! Since he failed to have insurance my insurance company is paying for the damages and I guess it is a policy that when an infant is involved in a wreck they have to get a new car seat, so we got an upgrade!! Here is Keelie in her new luxurious seat! She doesn't get to sit forward for another 2 1/2 months and 3ish so pounds but she loves all the room she has and the little cup/snack holder on the side! :)
Well that is about all I have for you haha like I said.. Keelie is everything! Me and Trey haven't been up to much just getting ready for our BIG DAY! This last month he finished up his Scuba Diving Masters and is going to start teaching classes for PADI in Boise! And I just started working at Bella Pierre in the mall! Besides that we haven't done much this summer besides chase around Keelie!

To close, I guess I could tell you what all Keelie loves, is learning, and doing now that she is 9 1/2 months old!
  • loves to play patty cake
  • loves the "If you're happy and you know it clap your hands"
  • peak-a-boo
  • pointing (at everything)
  • loves to yell at people in the grocery store
  • loves petting copper
  • swing around on her play pin (yes, swing. She will grab the sides and fling around)
  • loves to watch us cook
  • loves outdoors
  • giving hugs
  • giving kisses
  • scratching
  • sucking on her fingers! ah
  • pulling all her toys out.. and then when I clean up, she loves doing it all over again!
  • hitting herself when she is angry and ready for a nap
  • giggling! haha whenever we play games with her she giggles uncontrollably
  • standing up on things and making her way around them
  • her favorite foods are: bananas, mango, squash, carrots..
We just introduced her to boiled egg yolk and she loves it!
  • she loves her little snacks
Words that she says:
  • mama (only when she wants me to hold her and she is upset)
  • dada
  • papa
  • up
  • besides all those that we can clearly understand she does like to talk alot haha

Well that is what I have for you now! Hope you enjoyed! :)

Blackfoot trip!

Well we jump started our summer! The last few weeks we have spent in a car driving back and forth from Boise to Blackfoot and I'm happy to say I won't be leaving Boise anytime soon! Morgan has had a very important year.. She just graduated from BHS and had her final dance recital for her dance team. I was super excited for the trip.. until I remembered its a 3+ hour car trip. So when we finally got to Blackfoot we were both very thankful to get out and have some fun! Luckily for Keelie though, she just slept most of the trip!
It was so much fun watching Morgan graduate.. We didn't get to go into the actual graduation because they decided to do it in the auditorium this year and so seats were limited, so we sat in the gym and watched it on a huge blow up big screen TV. Wow... next year lets just hope they put a little more money into it and get a good speaker system so you can understand the speakers.
Keelie had a blast seeing everyone and loved all the attention she got! When we got back to our hotel (yes a hotel since we all live in Boise now! and had no where to go when we were in Blackfoot :/) we took some fun pictures of Keelie wearing a tiny graduation hat that was on Morgan's build-a-bear. They all turned out really cute but here are a couple...(ha ha my little graduate!)I love this one!

It was fun going down to Blackfoot and getting to be watch Morgan graduate! ohh I plus we got to eat at all our favorite places in Blackfoot! We had Mr. Pizza, Rupes, Homestead... yummy! sad to think that we are kinda done with Blackfoot and I probably won't be down there for awhile!

New Blog!

So after reading a billion peoples blogs, I finally decided it's about time I start one too. I figured it would be a good way for everyone to see and hear about how my little family is doing!
Well Keelie is already 7 months old! Crazy to believe she is that old now :)
Some of the things that Keelie can do:
-Play peekaboo! dresses, blankie, burp clothes and bibs..Sometimes she misses her face though. haha
-Weird army crawling in a circle. Not anywhere in particular just in a circle.
-Talk and talk and talk, but only when we are home or in the car. She acts shy when we go out in public.
-Speaking of talking.. her new(er) thing is whispering. She will start jibber jabbing normal, and then slowly go into a whisper and no talking at all just moving her mouth like she is talking.
-Kisses! We love her juicy wet kisses she gives to mommy and daddy!
-Dancing. Whenever we have music playing in the house (or Trey's games music) she puts her hands up and goes wild.
-Relaxing! In the carseat, in the bounce, on the bed...

I love waking up and seeing her learn new things each day!

Besides all the craziness she brings Keelie loves baby food now! Carrots, squash, bananas, and apple sauce.. those ones she can't get enough of! While she eats these certain foods she will "mmm" at me.

Well..besides Keelie! Me and Trey have been doing good. I have one more final and then it will be Summer break for me, and Trey is on summer break for work so we are just relaxing for the summer now and excited to spend so much time with Keelie and enjoy this nice weather here in Boise! We are getting married on August 27th and can't wait! As soon as we finish out engagement shots I will post some up here!
My summer goal is to keep this blog up to date so I will try my best! :)
